Street View
A sixty-five feet iron sculpture adorns the entire front of the restaurant and
culminates across the front of the open exhibition kitchen. The sculpture design
is wandering grape vines in a antiques bronze finish complete with antiqued green
leaves enveloping dainty cut crystal candlelit vases (120 in all). The sculpture
starts at the floor whisply flowing up and across the huge open windows, providing
just enough of a separation to allow diners the choice of being part of the oak
tree lined St. Charles Avenue or secluded for those intimate moments. The iron
sculpture is reminiscent of wrought iron works seen throughout New Orleans typically
used on balconies or garden pavilions.
