Scholarships
Scholarships may be in the form of a cash award or a fee waiver. To be a candidate, the student must demonstrate a financial need, exhaust financial alternatives, possess a cooperative attitude, maintain good attendance, and show academic progress. Scholarships will be provided from local, regional and national restaurants; various foundations; and other sources. Students not active, not in good standing with the Institute or not maintaining satisfactory progress will lose scholarship eligibility. Funds may be awarded to any student who qualifies. Scholarship funds may be used in financial aid calculations, but they are not granted or applied until graduation to assure program compliance. Non-compliance may result in forfeiture of scholarship awarded funds.
